Oliver Winzenried, co-founder and CEO of WIBU-SYSTEMS AG in Germany, graduated in 1987 as Diplom-Ingenieur Elektrotechnik (MSc Electrical Engeineering) from the University of Karlsruhe, one of three Elite Universities in Germany. He has extensive knowledge in the development of ASIC components, PC hardware, and communication interfaces. His widespread management experience and leadership style are the reasons his company has enjoyed strong growth, stability and profitability. Currently, he is an active member of the BITKOM board (www.bitkom.org ) and serves on the development association board of the FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik (www.fzi.de). Moreover, he participates in standardization bodies and international Research and Development projects.

Marcellus Buchheit is co-founder, Director of Research and Development, and today CEO of WIBU-SYSTEMS USA Inc.. In 1989, he completed his studies also at the University of Karlsruhe, as Diplom Informatiker (MSc Computer Science). As a professional computer scientist, Marcellus Buchheit knows the basics of professional software development inside out. In addition, he has profound knowledge in the area of encryption technology, Internet standards, Windows developments (he is author of a former standard publication in this area) and hardware controlling. Between 1996 and 2004, he was MVP and as Regional Director at Microsoft, regularly monitored current trends of PC software and Internet standards.

Marcel Hartgerink has studied electronics, and made his first software protection system for Atari-ST computers in 1988. He was later involved in biometric authentication systems for large companies. Besides this technical background, he is expert at the marketing of new ideas and solutions.
Today, he fills the positions of General Manager of WIBU-SYSTEMS NV, WIBU-SYSTEMS BV, WIBU-SYSTEMS LTD and WIBU-SYSTEMS Spain. He is in charge for sales and marketing in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Portugal, the UK and Ireland.
